Contadores de Estórias de Gainesville is a storytelling group in Portuguese that meets once a month at the Millhopper Branch Library. Our goal is to celebrate various brazilian holidays and interact our children with the brazilian culture and traditions through songs, games, books and storytelling. All the meetings are spoken in portuguese to preserve our language.

Weekly school year foreign language classes from September - May and holiday camps in summer, winter and spring break.   A relaxed age-appropriate curriculum in French, German, Spanish, Portuguese, Chinese, Hebrew, Japanese, Russian and Tamil with multimedia instruction in reading, writing, listening and speaking skills encouraged for children ages 4-16 and adults.   An individualized program where learning is a pleasure!   Enjoy croissants, crêpes, mousse au chocolat, songs, games, vocabulary, fairy tales, phonics, prizes, cinéma, and drama.

French Club: In the French Club, kids ages 5-12 meet on Saturdays, 12:30-2:30pm to experience the French culture through music, games, food and more. They also learn the language with an age-appropriate curriculum, and enact fairy tales.(Japanese available as well.)    Cost:$10/meeting

Offering French and Spanish classes, we are the premiere language instruction educators in Gainesville and the surrounding areas.   We off exciting and interesting instruction for children in preschool and elementary school.   Children attend a weekly playgroup where they learn a language through songs, games, drama, stories, simple recipes and crafts.   Classes are offered at various locations around town.   Please check the website for details.

At La Escuela students will learn Spanish in a fun environment through hands-on activities; games; music and conversation. We offer Advanced Placement (AP) tutoring; private and group classes for children and adults. Each student is placed according to his or her level an works with a Spanish native-speaker instructor.
