Academy of Music and Art & Gainesville Guitar Academy
Our Academies were established by musicians and music teachers who had a mission to bring to the community a standard of excellence for music education.   For thirty years this mission has been fulfilled by hiring the best teachers whose credentials support that philosophy.   The owner/directors expanded the studio lesson model from teaching mostly guitar, to a full program offering instrumental instruction, voice, and visual art, with a faculty dedicated to teaching excellence in a warm, comfortable environment.   Our facility houses twelve studios, a recital hall, and a visual art studio, all in a beautiful historical building in the thriving center of Gainesville’s commercial and academic district.

The By Ear Musician
The By Ear Musician offers lessons for a wide variety of instruments and dance. Whether you just picked up your first guitar or are looking to dust off the piano in your living room, it's time to take the next step. The fundamentals are essential when attempting to learn an instrument or type of dance (or anything else for that matter). The By Ear Musician builds on these fundamentals while staying true to our credo, “Teaching the art of playing with feeling.” This is not only essential in bringing out the talent of the individual, but more importantly, the joy of the art form!

Kozloski Piano Studio
I've been teaching piano lessons to children and adults for twelve years.   I received my Bachelor of Arts degree in Music with an emphasis in Piano Pedagogy from Florida State University in 2004.   Since that time, I have continued to teach private piano lessons and perform publicly.   My intent is to provide each student with a musical appreciation and education built on the foundation of the musical basics of sight-reading, ear training, technique, skill/dexterity, musicality, and performance through their experience of learning to play the piano.   I desire that each student will increase in discipline, skill, and confidence through their study of piano that will develop them for the whole of life.
