Earl P. Powers Park

This is a small playground located adjacent to a boat launch dock. There is a big oak tree perfect for a picnic, and of course, fish and other water life to gaze at.

New shoreline preservation overlooks are planned along the canal, which will allow fishing and wildlife observation, while protecting the delicate habitat along the shore. A new play system and floating dock are in the works for this location as well.

Large alligators are abundant.
