Imagine Learning Center
Imagine Learning Center Preschool: We believe in being open-minded about the ideas and theories that influence our practice.   We value individuality and promote autonomy of action and thought by including each child as an active participant in care activities.   We respect each child’s natural routines of active and quiet times, eating and sleeping schedules, and fluctuation between craving independence and the need for nurturance.   We celebrate childhood as a time for free and active exploration of life and of the world.   Teachers, children, and parents are partners in the learning process.   Family participation is critical to the quality of the program we provide.   We strive to convey a message of warmth and a home-like feeling to students and parents who enter our school. We have an open door policy and welcome families to be involved in any way possible.   The school is a community built by the children, families and teachers that inhabit it.   We encourage families to develop a sense of ownership through active participation and communication.   This type of home-school relationship strengthens family and cultural identity by providing relevant connections between school and the child’s family and culture.

Spencer House Montessori School
The Spencer House Montessori school was founded in 1999 with the goal of providing a truly substantive curriculum in the loving environment of a family owned and operated school.   To compliment the unique atmosphere of the historic school building, the Montessori teaching method pioneered by Dr. Maria Montessori was chosen to base the curriculum on.   Montessori emphasizes learning through exploration and experience as opposed to teacher-centered drills and exercises.   The Montessori classroom is designed to introduce the child to the joy of learning at an early age and provides the framework for individual and social discipline.   The years between three and six are the prime time for laying an academic foundation, and more importantly, the years when a child learns the ground rules of human behavior most easily.   At The Spencer House Montessori, we believe that it is up to each of us, whether we are parents or friends of parents, to reach out and encourage children as they grow and learn.

St. Michael's Episcopal Pre-School
St. Michael's Episcopal Day School has been a ministry of St. Michael's Episcopal Church since 1973.   The classes are all kept small with a low student/teacher ratio and offer many small group learning opportunities.   Above all, we provide a warm and loving environment in which each child can learn and grow.   St. Michael's Day School; where every child's light can shine!   Our curriculum challenges students intellectually, spiritually and socially by involving them in activities geared to their developmental levels and individual needs.   Our program teaches basic Christian values using stories from the Bible and weekly Chapel services.   The curriculum, Beyond Centers and Circle-time, allows our students to build their skills through play and our 'Animal Alphabet' encourages pre-reading skills from our two-year-old class through VPK.

Westwood Hills Christian School
We are dedicated to providing an educational program that educates the whole person; spiritually, intellectually, emotionally and physically. The Scripture instructs us to “train up a child in the way he (she) should go; and when he (she) is old he (she) will not depart from it.” Proverbs 22:6. We believe that as we partner with our parents we operate in the truth of this proverb.
