We have a staff of excellent assistant tennis pros with experience working with all ages and all levels of play. We offer private, semi-private and group lessons for beginner to advanced players.
QUICKSTART:An exciting new play format for learning tennis featuring; specialized equipment; shorter court dimensions; modified scoring; tailored to age and size divided into two different levels - ages 8 and under and ages 10 and under. It's the fast, fun way to get kids into tennis - and keep them playing
Classes are Wednesday 2 pm and Saturday 8:30 am
Ages 8-10 - one hour - $12/class
Ages 7 and under - 45 min - $9/class
PEE WEE 1.0:This group is designed as an introduction to the game and basic fundamentals. It is a thoughtfully chosen blend of tennis and fun. Children learn the basic shots with the help of a shorter, lighter racquet.
JUNIOR BEGINNERS 1.0-1.5:For the junior player wanting to advance their game. Lesson plans include basic skills, movement and hand eye coordination. Players will learn all the basic shots and play some points.
JUNIOR INTERMEDIATE 2.0-2.5:Players almost ready for competitive play, this class will concentrate on point play. All the shots will be covered in more detail but the emphasis will be on getting the serve in and keeping track of score.
Rally Ball:Allows beginning players to learn tennis in a fun atmosphere. Players focus on the forehand and backhand strokes and in doing so learn how to rally the ball back and forth with control. Once the players have learned how to rally the ball, friendly competition is then introduced.

The 300 Club offers a first class tennis program designed with the whole family in mind. Benefit from the choice of sources, 7 clay or 2 hard courts, and a state of the art swimming Excellent certified teaching pros offer private lessons for every age and skill level. Our Tennis camp Director, Abdoulaye Toure is a certified USPTA P-1 with professional tennis playing experience. His assistant Alexis King is a former gator and a current professional tennis player helps direct tennis activities for every level player, from children to the adult tournament competitor. Clinics are held throughout the year. During the summer we offer numerous children\'s clinics of all levels with shaded courts available for the 10 and under. Youth team tennis and adult league play bring exciting, fun opportunities to further your game. Private lessons are also available.

Gainesville Area Community Tennis Association
Promotes, encourages and fosters the development and growth of the sport of tennis at both the junior and adult levels in the Alachua County area. We promote tennis in Alachua County as a means of healthful recreation and physical fitness for persons of all ages and we provide an opportunity to learn and engage in a wholesome, lifetime sport and recreational acitvity. Haile Plantation Golf and Country Club Junior Tennis Clinics
Have a great time, and learn a great game in our Junior Tennis Clinics. These beginner, intermediate or advanced level groups are super popular and instructional. Meet new friends for play and practice too. Our advanced level players, Ages 12 to 17 have 1-1/2 hour clinics.

Juniors Four-Season's Championships! Many junior members are joining the ranks of our competitive players throughout the year. Our Four-Seasons Championships round-robin competitions are available every Sunday to HPGCC Juniors, ages 9 - 16 who would like to play "real" matches and improve their match-play strategy. One or our teaching professionals will oversee the action and help our players learn about all aspects of "match-play." All participants must have already reached at least a "low-intermediate" level of play (for their age). Although this will be a competitive environment, it is a low-pressure, fun atmosphere. This is a great transition to tournament or high-school tennis. The cost is only $11.00 for 1-1/2 hours of action. Please call 336-1989 as soon as possible to sign up, or for more information.
Junior Tennis League Join our Junior Round Robin League. You'll receive a schedule to play each of the other participants in once per week matches. The players call each other to set up the match time. Great fun and great practice for developing a competitive game! Intermediate and Advanced divisions are available. Prizes will be awarded to the winners and runners up. Divisions for ages 10 - 12 and 13 - 16 are available. Please email or call Bob for more information.

Jonesville Tennis Center
The tennis center consists of 14 clay hydrocourts, including one larger "show" court, a beach tennis court, and a small proshop/restroom building, which includes shower facilities. All areas within the center are handicapped accessible.

UF Southwest Recreation Center Outdoor Tennis Courts
There are ten tennis courts available for open recreation as well as special events. Lights are on 5:30 p.m. - 11 p.m., seven days a week. Only University of Florida students, faculty, staff or their spouses are authorized to use this facility.

USTA Jr. Team Tennis - Gainesville League
USTA Jr. Team Tennis is the largest youth team tennis program in the country. It brings kids 5-18 years old together in teams to play singles and doubles againest others of similar age and skill.
